Mapei Mapecem Bonding Slurry
Mapei Mapecem Bonding Slurry is a cementitious anchoring slurry made using Mapecem and Planicrete SP, designed to promote strong adhesion between a prepared substrate and a bonded Mapecem screed. It is used immediately before installing the screed to create a reliable bond between the existing surface and the new screed system.

Typical Applications:
Ideal as the bonding layer between clean, properly prepared concrete or cementitious substrates and bonded Mapecem screeds, particularly where rapid-setting and rapid-drying floor preparation is required.
Mixing Ratio:
For the bonding slurry, mix 1 part Planicrete SP with 1 part Mapecem by weight.
Application:
Apply the mixed slurry at approximately 2–3mm thick, then install the Mapecem screed while the slurry is still fresh. Do not allow the bonding slurry to dry before installing the screed.
Important:
Mapecem itself is a fast-setting hydraulic binder and must be mixed with suitable graded aggregate when used to create the screed.
