Mapei Mapecoat I 600 W is a two-component, transparent water-dispersed epoxy primer designed for priming cementitious substrates before compatible Mapefloor resin flooring systems. It can also be used as an anti-dust treatment on cementitious surfaces, providing a versatile solution for professional resin flooring applications.

Typical Applications:
Ideal for priming sound, clean, dry and mechanically prepared cementitious substrates before the application of compatible Mapefloor systems. It can also be applied in one or more coats as an anti-dust treatment on suitable cementitious surfaces.

Mixing Ratio:
Component A : Component B = 2.3 : 3.6 by weight. 

Dilution:
Dilute the mixed product with water at 1:1 by weight when used before Mapefloor I 500 W, 1:0.5 before Mapefloor Urban System, or from 1:1 up to 1:5 for anti-dust treatments depending on substrate absorption.

Working Time:
Approximately 2–3 hours at +23°C and 50% relative humidity.

Coverage / Consumption:
Approximately 0.15–0.50kg/m², depending on substrate absorbency, dilution and intended application.

Drying / Recoat Time:
Approximately 3–4 hours for the first coat and 6–8 hours for the second coat at +23°C and 50% relative humidity. Final hardening occurs after approximately 7 days.

Application:
Apply evenly by medium or long-pile roller, spray or airless spray. When used as a primer, Mapei specifies lightly broadcasting Quartz 0.5 onto the product while still wet.
