Mapei Mapeproof Primer is a one-component, rapid-drying primer designed to help protect flooring installations against residual moisture in cementitious substrates. Its ready-to-use PVDC formulation creates a moisture-resistant membrane before the application of suitable Mapei smoothing compounds and flooring systems.

Designed for professional floor preparation, Mapeproof Primer offers excellent resistance to humidity and can be applied in multiple coats depending on the substrate and required application.

Drying Time:
Approximately 2–5 hours before applying the appropriate smoothing compound, depending on substrate absorbency, temperature and humidity.

Coverage / Consumption:
Approximately 60–70g/m² when diluted 1:1 or 120–130g/m² undiluted, depending on substrate absorbency. A two-coat application uses approximately 250g/m².

10kg drum.
