Fiddes Universal Decking Oil

Fiddes Universal Decking Oil is a deeply penetrating, water-repellent exterior timber oil formulated to preserve, protect and restore decking and other outdoor timber surfaces.

Suitable for smooth, planed and rough-sawn timber, it penetrates deep into the surface to help prevent splitting and surface algae growth while providing excellent resistance to wear, dirt and water penetration. Its strong water-beading performance provides lasting protection against exposure to the elements.

Available in Clear, which allows timber to naturally grey over time, as well as three natural colour shades containing UV filters to help resist colour fade.

Typical Applications:
Ideal for timber decking, timber cladding, outdoor timber structures and other suitable exterior timber surfaces.

Coverage:
Approximately 10–20m² per litre per coat, depending on the timber and surface condition.

Application:
Apply using a quality floor brush or 10mm microfibre roller, working evenly in the direction of the timber grain.

Drying Time:
Approximately 6–12 hours. Longer drying times may occur in cold, damp or humid conditions.

Maintenance:
Annual reapplication is recommended. Timber exposed to particularly harsh weather conditions may require more frequent maintenance. Remove any fungal growth, dirt or moss from existing timber before application.
