APC Quartz Shield® is a decorative quartz aggregate designed for durable, slip-resistant epoxy flooring systems. Unlike traditional systems that use silica sand for texture, Quartz Shield® uses coloured quartz to combine increased grip and durability with a decorative finish suitable for residential, commercial and industrial environments.

Typical Applications:
Ideal for commercial kitchens, food manufacturing facilities, garages, workshops, warehouses, loading docks, car parks, pool surrounds, patios, driveways, paths, walkways and other areas where additional slip resistance and durability are required. 

Spread Rate:
Quartz Shield® 25: approximately 15–20m² per 22.5kg bag for a 1–2mm Matrix System.
Quartz Shield® 40: approximately 20–25m² per 22.5kg bag for a 1–2mm Matrix System. 

Available Colours:
Arctic, Grain, Iron, Silver, Wine and Coal, with APC recommending specific EPO100T® base colours for each blend.

Important:
Quartz Shield® is not suitable for substrates or areas with excessive cracking or movement. The appropriate grit, coating system and application method should be selected according to the required finish and slip resistance.
