APC Resin Thickener is a fumed silica rheology modifier designed to increase the viscosity and consistency of epoxy resins. Treated with PDMS to create hydrophobic silica, it can be added to both tinted and clear epoxy systems to achieve anything from a slightly thicker, sag-resistant consistency through to a heavy paste suitable for bonding and filling applications.

Typical Applications:
Ideal for modifying clear and tinted epoxy resins where a thicker consistency is required, including vertical applications, filling, bonding and other epoxy work where standard self-levelling resin is too fluid.

Consistency Guide:
Slightly Thick – Tomato Sauce: 10–20% by volume; will sag down vertical surfaces.
Moderately Thick – Mayonnaise: 30–50% by volume; clings to vertical surfaces.
Very Thick – Peanut Paste: 100%+ by volume; suitable for bonding and filling applications. Addition rates may vary between tinted and clear resin systems.

Important:
Epoxy resin modified to a moderately or very thick consistency will no longer self-level.
