Sikafloor®-14 Prep ‘N’ Prime

Sikafloor®-14 Prep ‘N’ Prime is a single-component, ready-to-use non-porous primer designed to promote adhesion over smooth, sound and non-absorbent substrates before compatible levelling and smoothing compounds are applied.

It dries to a textured, grip-promoting surface that provides a strong key for subsequent flooring products. It’s also a time-saving alternative to mechanical grinding for certain non-porous surfaces, subject to correct preparation and bond testing.

• Fast drying — approximately 50+ minutes at 23°C
• Creates a grip-promoting keyed surface
• Easy brush or roller application
• Suitable for internal and external applications

• Can be used before compatible Sikafloor levelling and smoothing compounds
• Suitable over compatible Sika moisture-barrier systems
• Approximately 8m² coverage per litre, depending on the substrate and application 

Typical Applications:
Suitable for correctly prepared and fully bonded ceramic and porcelain tiles, terrazzo, non-porous coatings, vinyl flooring, compatible acrylic membranes and Sikafloor epoxy coatings.
