Mapei Mapecem Pronto is a pre-blended, ready-to-use, quick-setting and rapid-drying mortar designed for creating controlled-shrinkage screeds where fast turnaround is required. It can be used for both bonded and floating screeds on new and existing floor slabs.

Its rapid-drying formulation allows the screed to reach less than 2% residual moisture after 24 hours, making it particularly useful when timber, resilient flooring or other moisture-sensitive finishes need to be installed quickly.

Typical Applications:
Ideal for creating bonded or floating screeds over new and existing slabs, including screeds beneath timber, vinyl, linoleum, carpet, ceramic tiles and natural stone. It can also be used for screed repairs and underfloor heating applications.

Consumption:
Approximately 20kg/m² per 10mm thickness, depending on compaction.

Working Time:
Approximately 20–30 minutes.

Light Foot Traffic:
Approximately 2–3 hours.
