Mapei Eco Prim Grip is a ready-to-use, multi-purpose bonding primer designed to improve adhesion on smooth, dense and low-absorbency substrates before applying compatible smoothing compounds, renders and other cementitious products.

Its textured formulation creates a rough, grip-promoting surface, making it particularly useful for renovation work and difficult substrates where additional mechanical key is required.

Typical Applications:
Ideal for preparing suitable dense and low-absorbency substrates, including existing terrazzo and porcelain tiles, before compatible levelling and smoothing compounds are applied.

Consumption:
Approximately 0.20–0.30kg/m², depending on substrate absorbency.

Drying Time:
Approximately 30 minutes before applying a smoothing compound, depending on substrate temperature and porosity.

Available Sizes:
5kg and 10kg drums.
