ARDEX P 51 Universal Flooring Primer
ARDEX P 51 is a concentrated, solvent-free synthetic resin primer designed for priming and sealing porous floor and wall substrates before the application of compatible ARDEX levelling and smoothing compounds.
It helps control substrate absorbency, preventing rapid loss of water from subsequent levelling compounds while also reducing the risk of air bubbles rising from porous substrates. Depending on the substrate, P 51 is diluted with water at different ratios to provide the required priming performance.

Typical Applications:
Suitable for preparing porous concrete, screeds, structural particleboard, plywood, plasterboard, cement sheeting and suitably prepared sanded tiles before compatible ARDEX flooring products.
Coverage:
Approximately 8–16m² per litre, depending on the substrate and dilution ratio.
Drying Time:
Allow to dry to a clear film for a minimum of 3 hours and maximum of 24 hours before subsequent application.
